The 22–30 October dates below illustrate the route. Other dates can be arranged. The CNY 5,235 per person reference rate applies to a group of 26–30 travellers sharing rooms. Different dates, party sizes or room arrangements are quoted individually.

Itinerary at a glance

Day 3 · Chongqing neighbourhoods

Sample date: 24 October. Liziba + Guanyinqiao + Mafangwan Rainbow Lane + Ciqikou Ancient Town. An evening drone show may be arranged if scheduled and operating; it is subject to weather and is not guaranteed.

Overnight: Chongqing. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 4 · High-speed train to Zhangjiajie + Tianmen Mountain

Sample date: 25 October. Travel from Chongqing to Zhangjiajie by high-speed train in second class, then visit Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area.

Overnight: Zhangjiajie. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 5 · Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

Sample date: 26 October. Yuanjiajie + Tianzi Mountain + Ten-Mile Gallery. The listed scenic transport includes the Bailong Elevator, Tianzi Mountain cable car and Ten-Mile Gallery mini train.

Overnight: Wulingyuan. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 6 · Furong and Fenghuang

Sample date: 27 October. Furong Ancient Town + Fenghuang Ancient Town, with time to enjoy Fenghuang after dark.

Overnight: Fenghuang Ancient Town. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 7 · Fenghuang to Changsha

Sample date: 28 October. Depart from your hotel in Fenghuang, view Aizhai Bridge from outside and photograph the winding mountain road. Continue to Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street in Changsha.

Overnight: Changsha. Meals included: Breakfast and lunch. Dinner is at your own expense.

Day 8 · Explore Changsha

Sample date: 29 October. Orange Isle (Juzizhou) + Wuyi Square, with stops at Furong Square and Snack Kingdom.

Overnight: Changsha. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

What the reference package includes

• Hotels: 8 nights in locally rated 3- or 4-diamond hotels, on a shared-room basis. Specific hotels and rooms are confirmed with your quotation.
• Transport: arrival pickup in Chongqing, departure transfer in Changsha, road transport on the itinerary and a second-class high-speed train ticket from Chongqing to Zhangjiajie. The reference group uses a 39-seat coach in Chongqing and a 37-seat coach with a 2+1 seating layout in Hunan; vehicles for other party sizes are quoted to suit.
• Attraction admission: Tianmen Mountain, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Furong Ancient Town.
• Listed scenic transport: Bailong Elevator, Tianzi Mountain cable car, Ten-Mile Gallery mini train, Furong and Fenghuang shuttle buses, and the Orange Isle mini train.
• English-speaking guide: 7 days, on Days 2–8. Arrival and departure days do not include an English-speaking guide.
• Meals: 8 breakfasts and 13 lunches or dinners, as shown above. The lunch/dinner allowance is CNY 50 per person per meal.

Flights and other extras

• Flights or other travel to Chongqing and home from Changsha are excluded. The Chongqing–Zhangjiajie train within the itinerary is included.
• All meals on Day 1 and dinner on Day 7 are at your own expense.
• A single room for the whole trip adds CNY 1,500 per person to the reference quotation.
• Gratuities are additional: CNY 50 per traveller for the driver, CNY 50 for the guide and CNY 50 for a trip photographer, where applicable. Each gratuity is paid once for the entire trip. If all three apply, the total is CNY 150 per traveller for the entire trip.
• Personal spending, optional experiences and additional costs caused by transport disruption, weather or policy changes are excluded.

Aizhai Bridge is viewed from outside. The drone show depends on the actual schedule and operating conditions. Your final quotation will confirm the route, availability, hotels, inclusions and total price for your own group.
